Band Jam night at the local. One woman fully convinced of her own main characterness was hanging out of the band, the equipment and everyone that got up to sing or play. She distracted and unsettled the musicians and claimed they were rude when they told her to f*ck off.

Reo's work is thorough and engaging so I am glad they have been working on something like this but sorry that it's necessary.
20,000 words, 150 footnotes, 100+ timeline events = our attempt at documenting and synthesizing all the ways that the federal government has attempted to destroy access to gender-affirming care since January unbreaking.org/issues/trans...
Transgender Healthcare: Explainer — Unbreaking
How the administration is breaking the government, and what that means for all of us.

I still remember the day I watched Rise of Skywalker by myself and came out of the cinema in a FURY after it. I had to sit in the car and compose myself before driving home.
While I've cooled on this movie since it released, it really was exciting at the time.

There was so much potential and promise, only for that to be squandered by Rise of Skywalker.
today marks ten years since the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a legacy sequel to the then-32-year-old Return of the Jedi and the start of a new trilogy

Should you refuse to show compassion because you believe it would make you appear weak, then you have misunderstood what strength is. It is honorable to have concern for others, to show empathy and to offer aid to someone in distress. To rebuke this is cowardice, not strength.

My lovely human friend's landlord is selling up and she needs a home.
Am in search of a Christmas miracle...a place to live in Dublin that I can afford and with decent people. If you help me find it, you get to call yourself someone's Christmas angel!

Apparently some people just think of me as being autistic in the same way as they thing of me as being irish or whatever, just a no brainer fact.

It isnt something i'd ever really thought about myself but huh. Interesting.

Fuming at waterford-wexford link in particular. (And also the shannon airport link)

So frustrating
They've done it again, they've cut more rail projects. The most criminal one for me is cancelling the reopening of the Waterford-Wexford/Rosslare line. On the left is the All-island Rail Review published by the last government and on the right is the plan published today.

Can confirm i am just dicking around at all times
i have said this before but if you are actually interested in influencing people beyond a narrow circle of too-online journalists you will be making direct to camera videos on tiktok, instagram and youtube. if you primarily post on text-based social media then you're just dicking around.

Hey everyone, here's the news, if you aren't a high earner, entrepreneur or a "skilled frontline worker" (whatever the fuck that means) the "Labour" Party says you aren't contributing, you're a taker!
This is so disgusting.

Considering how many immigrants work in the UK civil service at lower grades (you would need to be promoted 4 times to earn enough to stay) who have just been shat on with this piece of excrement, PCS (union) better go nuclear on this one.
This is so disgusting.

Everything here. And let me add as someone who lived outside the US for several years, many countries that pride themselves on being better than the US simply choose a different target for the same bigoted laws. See the way Roma & Travellers are treated
The thing about being an US born person of immigrant extraction who has also lived in a couple of other countries and traveled to a bunch more is... I can be both very clear eyed in the way the US sucks while also being aware of how other countries use the USA's failings to distract from their own.

Like MAGA, transphobes have gotten everything they wanted in 2025. And, like MAGA, they've never been more vitriolic toward the institutions they've captured, more disgusted by their wounded victims, more ready to plough forth into realms of cruelty that even they would have balked at a year ago.

Repeatedly, charities have chosen to cooperate with the ongoing exclusion of trans people from public life rather than take a serious risk to defend us. They will survive this shit. We fucking won't. Girl guiding or the People's History Museum or whatever get to do on. We die alone.
