There are no rules, they don’t actually care about respect, decorum, bipartisanship or debate, and only pretend to do so to browbeat you into submission. Nothing is going to change until more people realise that and respond accordingly; including to the media and politicians who have failed them.

Anyway, my two dayenu Rob Reiner movies are Spinal Tap and Stand By Me, if he had made nothing else he would have left his mark with just those two, and someone would be completely justified in picking two completely different Reiner movies as theirs and that is serious career breadth.

A lot of media and cultural focus of our AI slop world has revolved around the false positives, videos that are fake that people falsely believe to be real, but in the end I think the false negatives will have a much larger and broader impact, bringing everything into question all the time.
I hate that AI has made me approach cute animal videos with an air of suspicion. I resent having to harden my heart to the possibility of an unlikely friendship between a very large dog and a very small one

The goof in OHMSS where Bond looks at the camera and says “This never happened to the other fellow” comes off as pretty gauche but also represents a version of the franchise that wasn’t so self-serious or obsessed with capital-L Lore. It also happens to be one of the best films in the series.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”
