This is precisely the sort of journalism we need much more of. The Pacific North West -Vancouver has traditionally, historically and clearly currently had a serious problem with white chauvinist nationalism, often hidden within “wellness and outdoor culture.” For those of us familiar it’s palpable!
1/ NEW: We identified 20 people who attended a white nationalist conference and, despite their efforts to keep it secret, caught another 30 people on film to identify in the future. Several MMA/combat sports instructors were discovered and their gyms have cut ties.

Fascists tried to have a conference in Vancouver. It was infiltrated. Now, they’ve been identified.

You should hire me to help you communicate your research to the public because I love doing that and I daresay I'm not bad at it, either.

Game of Thrones (and that second Vikings spin off) done right, without all the feckin' zombies.

5 things to do for sanity and self preservation this week
1. Purge your kids' toys now. Someone might need a low-cost gift
2. Try a new hairstyle you can do yourself
3. Plan a book swap with your family
4. Get some cough drops and epsom salts. It's wintry bath time.
5. Play a full album w/ no skips

have the old Queen of the Damned film on in the background.

Pretty (very pretty) cast, but this is the most TV-movie looking stuff known to mankind.

So, uh, lemme see
London-Irish, Hackney - drink tea, eat chips, complain about the bus.
Pakistani folk, Leeds - drink tea, eat chips, complain about the bus
Ancient Anglo-Saxon Peasant, Bromley - drink tea, eat chips, complain about the bus.

What am I missing here?

but the question remain, who does Tim Davie will regenerate as?
Can’t believe Disney have pulled all their money out of Tim Davie.

Here’s hoping they go back to a Director General with smaller scale stories, set mainly in Broadcasting House, and bring back some classic old baddies, like the National Viewers And Listeners Association.

Currently doing some marking. A reminder to everyone involved in archives and collections: digitisation is not preservation. If I digitise a box of records and put the files on a USB stick I haven't preserved a thing. It's all about what you do with the files post-digitisation. #archives #digipres

A little family history and important to remember that It wasn't until 1947, after the war ended, that Canada’s Chinese Exclusion Act (1923) was abolished. Until that time, Chinese Canadians were marginalized and not allowed to vote.

One thing you can do to help is contribute to food banks. I volunteer at one and these SNAP cut backs have doubled the number of people coming in. We have to provide food for double the people and it runs out pretty quickly.

In New Jersey, a single mother struggled to figure out how to feed her two young sons with $50.
Because of the government shutdown, the Trump administration initially sought to stop supplying benefits.

What customers do they think want this?
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
