Went to move the cat out of my lap so I could go grocery shopping. She did not approve. I spent the next several minutes cleaning and salving the wounds on my arm. Fortunately none were deep enough to require bandages.

Okay, fake wood veneer gun cabinet is bad enough, but that is just not how you lay out a display. You don’t have to be an artist to know that overlapping the display objects just makes stuff looked cramped.

On vacation this week (staycation to use up PTO). My already wonky sleep schedule has gone feral. I'll take a recliner nap, then wake up needing to go to bed for several hours. It's all very weird, even for me.

I realize what a long shot this is, but our kid threw their beloved teddy bear out of the shopping cart at the Target at Sunset and Western in Hollywood. Teddy is much missed if you happen to hear of a missing bear!

Re-watched Halloween today. Never really noticed before, but the sex scenes are really short, like under 2 minutes each, and that's beginning to end. I mean, kinda realistic, but the women seem actually happy with it. Weird.

In retrospect, I wouldn't categorize Twin Peaks as drama or mystery or horror. It's a self-aware soap opera parody. It's primarily a comedy. That's why the terrifying moments hit so hard. You're not really ever expecting them.
