The young people who would have been most likely to lead the domestic anti-fascist fight in 2025 were repeatedly arrested, beat, jailed, mocked by elites and non-elites over the past 5 years. This was bipartisan. I find it interesting whenever some people ask 'where the young people are' now.

One industry single-handedly destroyed any chance we had at having a fast and reliable transportation system all over the country. You have to have a car or you're trapped. You have to drive a several-ton deathtrap every day alongside other people driving several-ton deathtraps just to get anywhere.

I despise cars. I can't drive. Too much anxiety.
It is a great example of how capitalism has ruined us and made us more miserable, lonely people.
I miss NYC, taking the subway and being able to go anywhere I want on a whim. Cars are not worth the bastardization of communities to accommodate them.
