she’s just so fucking insufferable and the incredible self-regard she has for the most banal, trite bullshit is a big part of it

Most of the derangement about Mamdani is for the obvious reasons but part of it is also that a surprising amount of people were committed to the Cuomo rehabilitation project because they hated the idea that anything could have consequences for men of the right class.

The bus is a great way to get around NYC and now that you actually know when it is coming you can plan your trip. In live in the congestion zone and you can really tell how much less traffic helps move buses faster. More dedicated bus lanes would help even more.
One thing I wrote about here is how technology has made buses *way* more convenient while techno-futurists were obsessed with flying taxis and self-driving cars.

The quack hand-enlargement procedures RFK Jr recommended to Trump never succeeded, and the side effects were quite unfortunate.
I am determined as God is my witness to start the Trump fake hand conspiracy theory. His hand isn't showing signs of an undisclosed illness. It's a fake painted Halloween costume hand because his hand was already removed. It's time.

I love (derogatory) when politicians try to scare us away from a public option with the specter of…long wait times! Like, we already have longer wait times than everyone but Canada!

And if God forbid you need a psychiatrist and live in a city? Forget about it. They straight up don’t take insurance.
America rules, just found out I have tendinitis in my knee and the earliest physical therapy appointment my expensive garbage insurance will cover is in May :)

People like to say “this is who they always were,“ but it wasn’t. Even the racists didn’t talk like this.
Man people didn’t say this kind of straightforward Nazi shit out loud prior to Trump 2.0. Amazing what’s become quasi-normalized in a year.

It is a murder machine.
Uh… check out what ChatGPT allegedly told a man before he killed his mother and then himself.

just because the last guy technically held the office didn’t mean he wasn’t a corrupt mess and we shouldn’t throw everything he did out wholesale
Mayor Mamdani has nullified every executive order issued by Eric Adams after he struck his corrupt bargain with Trump to secure dismissal of the indictment against him.
