PSA: twitter, X, is doing new terms of service that basically make it so that any comtent you share on there including DMs and photos is theirs and they can use it for "any purpose" including commercial use.

So, if you have a page you’ve left up and don’t want them there’s time to act 1/

these people don't deserve to rock to our music and consume our culture and in the same breath complain about our presence. They want to be the dominant culture but really don't do much do they? Is the Trump-Kennedy Center showcasing Kid Rock next year? Maybe ninja turtles rap from Vanilla Ice? Yawn

We've been through a lot lately, and it’s not over.

Extremism is knocking on our door, as YouTubers and federal agents. Schools and hospitals are slashed while Trump pardons crooks and gives handouts to billionaires.

Minnesotans know there’s only one way to weather a storm: you don’t do it alone.

The BBC has been banned from using the word Kidnap to describe the Kidnapping of Maduro.

No doubt when Greenland is invaded they will be banned from using the word invasion.

So many in media are ill-equipped to interview officials about what’s happening because they begin with the presumption of legitimacy and don’t know enough about history or U.S. foreign policy to foment intelligent pushback and hold officials accountable.

No. No. No.

Punitive processes make narrowly targeted programs *less* efficient and *more* costly. Because more scrutiny requires more bureaucracy.

Punitive processes also make it *less* likely that people will get aid for which they qualify. Because of the roadblocks and stigma scrutiny creates.

Threw her country under the bus, along with the rest of the world, and looks like she's going to get nothing, just like everyone who ever trusted Trump. Oh, who could've seen that coming?

Narco Rubio
This is incredibly worth reading in light of what is happening now and the basis on which Trump and Rubio are pursuing charges against Maduro.

The people who most loudly complain "Why can't these immigrants just stay in their country???" are the same ones who most loudly celebrate American military and CIA interventionism in these countries to overthrow their governments.

And they lack the self awareness to understand their own hypocrisy.

the reason people sometimes act madder at democrats than republicans when republicans do impossibly evil shit is the same reason why, if you hired an exterminator to handle a roach infestation and he showed up to feed and play with them instead, your first instinct wouldn’t be to yell at the roaches

"Maduro is a brutal authoritarian dictator," I wisely intone, as the corrupt demented paedophile US President violating Constitutional Law while operating a gestapo and concentration camps illegally arrests a foreign leader on charges which read like they were written on a paper placemat in crayon.

Among the many reasons you don’t kidnap a foreign head of state at gunpoint even if you have the capability, is that it sparks consequences you can neither control nor anticipate.

Everyone’s rightfully mad at Trump, we should be. But I’m also looking sideways at our military. You’re the one pulling the trigger, dropping the bombs, pirating ships, and all the other war crimes. No matter what orders come your way, you’re still making the personal choice to do those things.

what the american military is doing is nothing short of a cacophony of war crimes and an abuse of human lives. there is no justification, there will be no reconciliation.
