the only way to write something good is to write something bad over and over again until it becomes good. outsourcing all the writing something bad parts to a machine means you didn't write the good thing on the other end (if it's even good)

Since I'm in the Baltics, we're pretty late with the whole Geese discourse. But seeing multiple Geese memes in the last few days (plus P.T.A. filming frontman's Carnagey Hall concert, for some reason), I went to my go-to music critic to find out what the deal is, and boy, it did not disappoint.

Hi, for this week’s Pushing Buttons newsletter I talked to Dan Houser about the influence of Victorian literature on his games writing - especially Middlemarch on Red Dead Redemption 2 - it was a really interesting chat!

I think it's worth pointing out that very few video-game companies are as transparent as Shovel Knight maker Yacht Club Games, and I appreciate that the studio was so candid about their story and why their next game, Mina the Hollower, has taken so long

Totally forgot to share the piece that I wrote for GI.biz - but that's besides the point; The point is that folks at @santaragione.com make very fascinating games and that we should put money where our mouths are and buy Horses (which is bonkers in the best way possible) when it comes out! 🐴
Santa Ragione co-founder Pietro Righi Riva addresses the studio's potential closure in an exclusive interview with GamesIndustry.biz. "There will likely be no money left to make a new [game]... Unless a miracle happens and Horses does very well."

Seriously, unlike anything you will play in a long long time - support @santaragione.com and buy Horses when it comes out ✊
Our upcoming game HORSES was preemptively banned from Steam, with no path to appeal. The game will still launch next week on December 2nd and will be available on EGS, GOG, Humble, and Itch for $4.99. Here is a detailed FAQ covering what happened: horses.wtf/BannedFromSt...

Support Stop Caring, people!
Last week, my former housemate punched me multiple times in the eye, forcing me to break the lease for the beautiful apartment we shared and move in with a trusted friend

As I try to rebuild my life and find more permanent housing, I would greatly appreciate any support you could offer Stop Caring
