Earlier today the LA Times had AI-generated counterpoints to a column from @gustavoarellano.bsky.social. His piece argued that Anaheim, the city he grew up in, should not forget its KKK past.

The AI "well, actually"-ed the KKK. It has since been taken off the piece.

Lmao AP dirty edited this without a retraction.

Embarrassing that this was up all day claiming an official FB DOGE account harassed this man. The reporter didn’t look into it at all. There is no official doge account on Facebook and it wasn’t hard to figure out.

We don't believe in paywalls. Especially when it involves reporting that revealed what the richest man of the world thinks about one of the most impoverished and unjust cities in America.
Thanks to a syndication partnership with our colleagues at @mlk50memphis.bsky.social, thousands of readers were able to freely access timely information about Elon Musk's plans to drain poor and Black Memphians of their water resources for AI data centers, months before legacy outlets caught on:

“You should not go into debt if you get sick or pursue an education" would be one hell of a rallying cry for the Democratic Party.

Currently, they cannot stand for policies that get at the root causes of corporate greed.

Details of the dastardly plans will leak out, and they will be ghastly (Deporting people to Rwanda blew up in the UK govt's face)

But the economic impact on American jobs will be immediate & devastating. Fewer jobs, higher inflation. Slower growth.

I have about a dozen grant writers who would be willing to put in the time to help during this horrific time.
