Few nuggets from Staios on TSN 1200 this morning:

- No progress on Formenton. Hasn't decided on whether to renounce rights.
- Really likes Yakemchuk's game. Comfortable calling him up, if necessary.
- Confident a Pinto extension gets done. Will talk with his agent this week.

The reason EV range (and gas mileage) go down so much when you drive faster is because, when you drive twice as fast, you hit twice as many molecules AND you hit each of those molecules with twice as much force, which means drag increases exponentially.

A league source tells The Athletic that the sale price for the land is approximately $30 million. Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia first reported the dollar figure.
Some breaking #Sens news:

The National Capital Commission and the Sens have signed an agreement of purchase and sale for 11 acres at LeBreton Flats.

Next step will be zoning, design, decontamination and approvals.

Very common question I get: “why does 72 air feel comfortable but 72 water feels cold.”

Working on a new answer that’s something like “a box of water a meter on each side of can soak up as much heat as a box of air thats a meter deep, a meter wide…and 3.5 km tall. You wanna talk about why?”

The case for proportional representation is undeniable.

CTV reports on how our democracy distorting voting system fuels regional divisions, and how proportional representation can fix it.

@mark-carney.bsky.social, will you champion a system where every vote truly counts?
