One of the best nights of my life was when the 97's were supposed to play Brooklyn Bowl but there was a blackout. Rhett took to the sidewalk with his guitar and played like an hour-long solo show right there on the street.

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

Man I pulled so hard for all those fourth Braves pitchers. Denny Neagle went like 20-15 one year and I tried to get my dad to buy me a jersey

Best experienced if you imagine them angrily spoken through clinched teeth in response to a press conference question like “how are you preparing for Saturday’s game?”

Wow, powerful statements from Bill and Bubba. You can really feel the enthusiasm!

I played quarterback at Oregon for Chip Kelly

Understand the confusion, but appreciate the clarification (I would be a great college football coach)

Realizing I made one mistake here and that was not clarifying beyond a reasonable doubt that Josh (quoted below), whose time playing quarterback under Chip Kelly endowed him with unparalleled understanding of the game, would in fact be the literal one great college football coach.

I would absolutely be a great college football coach it’s not even up for debate

Good time to remember that there are no truly great coaches in any sport. Literally none, ever. There are shitty ones and decent ones and pretty good ones, but the good ones only ever look great when they have elite talent, and will look mediocre or even shitty as soon as they don't.

Sorry to hear this about Bill. As a PSU Alum, I'd be happy to let UNC have our current head football coach who has won 128 games at the D1 college level. No need to thank Penn State, just happy to help you out!

I thought there was a good chance Belichick wasn't going to coach a game at UNC but didn't think he'd quit mid-Year 1.

Like, he had all winter/spring/summer to realize this wasn't for him. Coaching a few weeks and THEN quitting implies he actually thought this team was going to be good

We got our boarding passes. We checked our bags. Went through security. Then at our gate our reservation ‘disappeared.’

Houston athletics just posted this… why? Why would you not just send another email correcting it?

Why do this in public?
