In his speech, Putin mentioned international law and said that all countries in the international community must abide by it.
But it is obvious that this does not apply to Russia.

Once a cozy, peaceful Kupiansk. Today, a town that russia has turned into ruins and utter desolation 😢

When Kupiansk was liberated by the Ukrainian army, it was intact. Our forces did not bomb it to drive the enemy away. But years of daily Russian attacks followed.

So it appears that within 24 hours, Vance pushed to halt strikes on Iran while simultaneously helping to undermine our European alliances.

This guy is a master at how not to properly run foreign policy.

You cannot back Donald Trump and support Ukraine. Trump has helped Putin by starving Ukraine of air defense (which the Russians understand). Trump is helping Putin freeze Ukrainian cities, turn off Ukrainian lights and, ultimately, kill Ukrainians.
And he has been doing this for almost one year.

Reminder here that Bezos attended a dinner with MBS, who ordered the killing of a WaPo journalist. I think Bezos has different priorities than the rest of us.
"One journalist said it was 'nauseating and irresponsible to have our owner remain silent given this unprecedented event.' Another said they were 'disappointed,' though 'not surprised.' A third said, 'If there is a moment to stand up for our journalistic values, this would be it.'"
New: Bezos Abandons His Post

Inside the Washington Post newsroom, after the FBI raided reporter Hannah Natanson’s home, where shock has given way to mounting frustration over the billionaire owner’s silence

What too many people refuse to admit is while they search around frantically for signs that Trump will help Ukraine, what has really happened is that Trump has protected Putin while the Russians have criminally attacked Ukrainian civilian life. This foolishness must stop now.

Russia bombs Ukrainian civilians, causes a humanitarian crisis in Kyiv amidst freezing temperatures, and continues to demand unrealistic concessions.

Yet somehow, Ukraine is the problem.

Idiot.

Cripes a’mighty people, Steven Miller is not staging a militarized ethnic cleansing and sending the border cops to murder people in the street to distract from the Epstein files. He’s doing it because he and Trump (and Vance and Homan and Noem etc) really really want to.

NEW: Russian advances slowed in late December 2025 and early January 2026, likely due to less advantageous winter weather conditions and the end of efforts to meet arbitrary deadlines at the end of the year. (1/8)

I want to talk about a dystopian world we are entering - where every moment, event, and crisis just become commodities.

Life stops being something we live, but something we sell and trade. It will breed both corruption & emptiness.

Know what’s fucking insane?

Our NATO allies are sending troops to Greenland to defend against a possible US invasion.

I know this administration doesn’t understand anything about anything, but the US is not self-sufficient enough to thrive in an interconnected world on our own.

Here’s an idea. First track the billionaires and their foreign tax shelters.
Bessent: "For individuals who want to wire money out of the country, they're gonna have to tick a box whether they are or are not on public assistance. Then we're going to start pushing over the coming days and weeks that if you're on public assistance, you cannot wire money out of the country."
