Our investigation found the live programme broke broadcasting rules by including a highly offensive remark which was not justified by the context, falling short of generally accepted standards. In addition to these complaints submitted directly by individuals to Ofcom, the Good Law Project gathered 71,851 complaints and provided them to Ofcom.

I've made a complaint to the BBC about its bald misstatement of the truth about what the Supreme Court decided in the For (Some) Women Scotland decision.
"In her Introduction to her interview with Mary-Ann Stephenson Laura Kuenssberg said. "Attention has often focused on who should be able to access single-sex spaces whether changing rooms or girls' sports teams but the Supreme Court said in a landmark ruling in April that it was biological sex not a person's chosen gender that should determine that answer." That sentence is simply wrong. The easiest way to explain why is to refer to an interview published with the presiding Supreme Court judge in that April decision, Lord Hodge, In The Times on 12 September 2025 which contains these paragraphs: "Hodge, who presided over the case with two female Justices, defended the decision and pointed out that the case before the court had nothing to do with how or where single-sex spaces should be created. These points weren't argued before us,' he said. "We were not there to decide points that were not put to us or were not raised in the course of argument, because we hadn't heard each side's position on it." With her statement Ms Kuenssberg stepped Into a highly contentious area and baldly misrepresented the truth. I would like her to issue a clarification and apology, please."

Michael Prescott’s report edits Trump’s quote *at least* as badly as Panorama did (I’d argue worse). And that misleading edit is now very obviously at the core of a $5 billion lawsuit against the corporation.

The Panorama had been online, without complaint, for a year before that dossier.

But he would rather condemn me than fight for the rights of women and girls I expected more from Ardal. I never thought he would intone the catechism. "I still get on great with everyone," he said in a recent interview with The Times, "though I haven't seen much of the show's creator, Graham Linehan, and am baffled as to why he got involved in the culture wars. I feel sorry for him - he's entitled to his opinions, but the way he presented them made it confrontational. When I read that, I phoned him immediately. When people betray me, I always make the mistake of phoning them straight away. My heart was thumping in my chest as I found his number and gave him a faux-polite, "Hey Ardal, how's it going?". My anger was already boiling. I knew exactly what he would say - the exact same things Bill Bailey said when I phoned him, the exact same things Amelia Bullmore said when I wrote to her. I knew, and I phoned anyway, because I can't help myself. And when he started reading from the same script as all the others, I lost my temper. At some point, Ardal said, "I just disagree with you." I would have said all this to him on the phone, but I was so angry I could not get any of it out. In fact, at one point I said, "You're on my f--ing s--t list." Ridiculous, of course, but unfortunately true. Like Father Ted at the Golden Cleric Awards, I keep a tally of every person who took the easy path and watched me twist in the wind. I can't help it. I remember them all. Tim Heidecker saying I'd gone down a "rabbit hole". David O'Doherty, who didn't have the guts to speak to me. My own brother-in-law publicly calling me insane. Adam Buxton, Jon Ronson, Richard Herring, Stewart Lee. People who knew me, people who had my phone number, people who could have asked, people who assumed the worst because doing otherwise would have exposed them to the same treatment I was receiving. In condemning me, to use Douglas Murray's line, they raise a little flag outside their home so the mob will pass them by. And every time one of them hands a journalist another little quote - another "baffled," another "sorry," another "he's awful, but I hope he's okay" - they get to carry on with their lives while mine gets smaller.
