Do you want my opinion on things? I don’t either, but if you follow me, you’ll get it.
Over the years, I’ve realized that Kevin Bacon is one of the best actors at swearing in movies. Tremors showcased his ability to perfectly use curse words by having him utter what is arguably the best “Fuck you” in cinematic history.
We could argue about it but what's the point? TREMORS isn't just one of the best monster movies ever made; TREMORS is one of the most entertaining movies that's ever been made, period. Find my grave on that hill, the one where I died🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼

I’m rewatching The Raid 2 and I completely forgot that all the prison stuff was in the first half hour. This movie starts so fucking strong.

Remember when the same people were mad that people didn’t respect Charlie Kirk in death because of the stuff he said in life? And now those people are treating a woman murdered by a fascist, racist police force as though she was a violent terrorist?

Watching Supercross and all of a sudden Sacred Heart Hospital made an appearance.

I know Sacred Heart when I see it.

Can we talk about how terrible the Purple Rain needle drop was in Stranger Things?

Too much genocide going on in the US.

Scream Movie Store Extra will return in AVENGERS DOOMSDAY.

Okay, so this one is a technicality, but the Scrubs season 8 finale, which was meant to be the series finale. It perfectly wrapped everything up.

ABC demanded another season. Bill Lawrence suggested a med school spin-off but was forced to make it season 9.

Season 8 finale is a perfect end, though.
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc

Forty minutes into The Life of Chuck and this feels like what if Mike Flanagan directed The Happening.

Eddington was odd.

Reacher is one very large guy, but the latest season had him in a giant fight with One Even Larger Guy.
As a culture I feel we've lost the fine art of having the action movie hero fight One Very Large Guy

The issue with boycotting them is that they’ll spin it as “They couldn’t handle going up against the US, the most powerful country in sports and the world.”

The best option would be to embarrass them at both.
The world must boycott the World Cup and the Olympics.

It is both the only moral choice and will actually get the attention of these dead-eyed clout demons.

What if he’s just a shitty person who does shitty things and none of the shitty things are to distract from the other shitty things, they’re just more shitty things?

Trying to get caught up on the nominees for my personal movie awards for 2025 and... Some of these categories are tough to narrow down.

Trying to figure out my favourite five end credits songs and there were so many I sat in the theater grooving to in 2025.

Also should note that a lot of us came here to get away from Twitter. We don’t need to see screenshots of Twitter all the time. If we wanted that, we would have stayed there.
y’all, just because some nitwit has a dumb take doesn’t mean you have to all spend the day rampantly promoting and spreading that take by complaining about it, consider maybe not doing that

The Fall Guy

All from 2024 and 2025
60% of the way through the decade, what are your fav movies?

2020 - Sound of Metal
2021 - Dune Part One
2022 - Nope
2023 - Oppenheimer
2024 - Dune Part Two
2025 - Sinners
60% of the way through the decade, what are your fav movies?

2023 - Poor Things
2024 - Love Lies Bleeding
2025 - Superman

Here’s the only part of my Letterboxd year in review that matters.

Okay, so here's my current top 20 of 2025. It will change as I see more movies, as every top movies list does.

Really happy with this one. Ending the year on a high note with my pictures.

I worked in tourism in Niagara Falls for a decade. A little over a decade, actually. Every once in a while, I would get celebrities coming through the attractions I worked at.

I sold tickets to Amy Jo Johnson (the original pink Power Ranger) and gave mirror maze instructions to Kelly Ripa.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

Please Quote this with your most minor celebrity interaction

If I'm being completely honest with myself, Fartfinkle and the Groovy Nature Bunch would totally be a movie I would watch, and it being the last movie of the year for me would be very in character.
I have to choose my movie wisely tonight because it might be my last of 2025. I don't want to be looking at Fartfinkle and the Groovy Nature Bunch as my last movie of 2025 when I check Letterboxd.
