Speaking of @fangoria.bsky.social , I was proud (and nervous) to interview MAN FINDS TAPE's own @gholson.bsky.social for the latest issue. It's been a long time since I was on the writing side of something and I hope I did a good job. Thanks to @philnobilejr.bsky.social for the opportunity ❤️

DUST BUNNY is available on VOD today. It made my top 15, a criminally overlooked 2025 film that's part Jim Henson, part John Woo, all awesome. Mads Mikkelsen is fantastic, the action is solid, and the Monster is very cool. In the 90s or Aughts it would have been huge. See it. Buy it. Worth it.

Bush’s 2003 invasion of Iraq is what radicalized me (more). We can’t let ourselves be numb to the fact that everything is so much worse now - that’s even more of a reason to radically resist.

Amelia’s got some good first steps for anyone feeling overwhelmed and helpless (relatable!!).
Most of my subscribers follow me for pop culture. This weekend, specifically, they're waiting on my Top 10 TV of 2025 and Critics Choice Awards updates.

I wish those are what I was coming to you with today. Instead, I come with a plea.

Our first podcast episode of the new year ushers 2026 in with a whole new wave of existential dread!
"We get up and we find out something terrible has happened almost every single day, and we just have to go do our job." In this week's episode of the podcast, @donatobomb.bsky.social and @monagle.bsky.social discuss the numbing, existential horror of Alexander Ullom's IT ENDS.

Absolutely lit on fire about this movie after seeing it at Telluride Horror Show. Can’t wait for a rewatch.
I think IT ENDS is going to be a movie people talk about for a long, long time. So why not listen to me and Donato talk about it right now?

2021 - Last Night in Soho
2022 - Nope
2023 - Poor Things
2024 - Love Lies Bleeding
2025 - Superman

I think? I barely researched this but feels correct.

Jason is a literal genius and we’re beyond lucky to have him building each & every Fango. I’d have him design my entire life aesthetic if I could!
A pretty crazy and productive 2025 at FANGORIA. Here is everything I worked on that got printed. We have a great team and it’s been a joy to work with everyone at Fango. Pretty wild stuff and excited for what new projects I get to work on in 2026.

In 2025 I started keeping track of my media in my planner. At each month’s end, I’d share those pages in my Stories, which sparked convos & recs from pals. It was a really fun hybrid of analog and digital record-keeping, and I’m excited to continue in 2026!

Here are my year-end totals and faves.
