Don’t let the internet fool you. I was at a protest for trans kids yesterday an HOUR south of Seattle, and it was HUGE. And there was a cacophony of drivers beeping in support.

💯. Progressives have to stop franchising out their consciences to the courts.

Politics is about moral choices.

The problem with Reform's proposal isn't that "the courts won't allow it".

It's that it's grotesque and inhuman.

If we're democrats, we must believe that this argument can be won.

Retrospectively removing indefinite leave to remain would be immoral and economically damaging. It would tear families apart.
Attacking it as ‘potentially illegal’ is completely beside the point.
Argue with the (awful) idea. Don’t try ’well, actually you can’t do that’.

One thing I'll say about DC not only canceling Red Hood, but recalling the first issue and refunding stores for buying it, is that you can still get Neil Gaiman's work through them. Whenever stuff like this bubbles up, I'm always reminded of the campaign waged in the early 90s by the red top newspapers against the rise of Media Studies as an academic discipline. "Mickey Mouse degrees" etc. The idea of a population with media literacy threatened their entire business model.
