I still recall the attempts to harm the quality of census data during earlier administrations. Don't like this.
Quite frankly, it’s outrageous that Mark Carney is cutting Statistics Canada. If he was Stephen Harper or Pierre Poilievre, I feel like this would be getting a lot more backlash.

Carney of all people should know the importance of high-quality data and information about the country.

Yes! I am loving papercrafts like junk journaling, decorative planning, etc. these days. (I was DROWNING in academia.)

So many people I know have returned to paper/analog planners, that is, if they ever left. And it’s actually a super relaxing hobby & potential lowkey side hustle if you’re crafty!
I'm gonna say this with all the kindness in my heart: you aren't going to survive if you don't let your life have room for other things.

This is not a short term fight where we can just go 24/7 and then it will be over. We've got YEARS ahead of us. Take a break. Hydrate. Go bake something. Breathe.

At the sanctuary where I work we have volunteers who feed animals and clean, but others who work on the website, do grant writing, donate artwork, financial consultation, etc. all kind of things that don't require physical presence! There are many kinds of volunteers!
Huh. I can't volunteer in person for so many reasons, but if they need something digital, maybe...
