Our stories aren’t only about survival, they’re about brilliance, innovation, and strength that’s lasted for millennia.

Teach the pain, yes, but teach the power too.

We are more than what was done to us. We are still here.

I was briefed on the intelligence last week.

Iran posed no imminent threat of attack to the United States. Iran was not close to building a deliverable nuclear weapon. The negotiations Israel scuttled with their strikes held the potential for success.

It should stop calling itself the paper of record.
Just thought I’d note that the front page of the New York Times does not have *a single article* about the gigantic protests yesterday. Millions of people in the streets, and not a single word.

It’s been disappeared.

This.
A fine kind of test.

Millions marched yesterday.

How are your news sources reporting on it? (ARE they reporting on it?)

How are they reporting on DJT’s parade?
Today is a good day to reevaluate where you get your news from.

How did your news sources describe Trump’s pathetic parade? How did they describe the protests? Did they lie about the crowd sizes? Or did they tell the truth?

These moments can be really clarifying.

Not taking anything away from Senator Padilla because he was treated atrociously

But I JUST want to remind everyone that the Congresswoman LaMonica McIver, a Black woman, was just indicted for just asking questions at an ICE detention center in her state

Keep that same energy of support for her

Trump is trying to sell his domestic policy bill with lies. Let’s break them down.

Trump said, “We’re not doing any cutting of anything meaningful. The only thing we’re cutting is waste, fraud and abuse.” False.

Writing to your local newspaper gets their attention. Two dozen folks wrote to @columbian.com asking why they didn't cover the Hands Off protest. Here is their answer, which includes the economic realities of being an independent, local newspaper. www.facebook.com/share/18GfVc...

An interesting thing about coups that I remember @naunihal.bsky.social telling me years ago:

Coup plotters never say “we are taking control of the government”.

They say “we are ALREADY IN CONTROL of the government”.

It’s a crucial lie.
