Bringing back prescription fees could lead to jump in hospital admissions, study shows. #nzpol

There is very little fiscal prudence from this govt. All their so called belt tightening is about cutting services to handover the savings to people with already overstuffed pockets.

Academic says the research is "really good evidence to show that we should keep all prescriptions free for everybody".

This is anti-*governance* arguably at a level beyond what even Johnson was trying to pull in the UK with some of his norm-defying actions. We have checks and balances like this regarding legislation for a *reason*. There's no basis for this unless they want to actively harm things.
Second leak.

And it reveals the government doesn’t want to have the standard checks in place on its first pieces of legislation.

This 'under new management' bs is getting very tiring.

You lost, we'll do what we want. Suck it up losers!

Dump anti-smoking.
Drill for oil.
Tax cuts for the wealthy.
Tear it all up!

That's not leadership. It's not bringing the country together.

It's Political Vandalism.

Luxon wants us to cut him some slack? Seriously? Listen buddy - it is the morally bound duty of every reasonable citizen to make sure your govt of shitweasels, christo-fascists and cookers is flushed down the toilet at the earliest opportunity. Fuck this “too early to protest” nonsense!

On the other had this is Christopher Luxon's fault and he is really bad at negotiations

Prime Minister-elect Chris Luxon wants to woo Big Oil and overturn Jacinda Ardern’s ban on oil exploration.

But he has a fight on his hands.

We know there can be NO new oil exploration if we are to avoid total climate collapse, and we won’t stand for it👇
Add your name in opposition to new oil exploration
Climate change, pollution and overfishing are pushing the ocean to the brink of collapse. But there is hope. Global ocean sanctuaries can help the ocean recover and thrive.
