Was The War Between the Land and the Sea originally supposed to be six episodes? That finale was really weirdly paced. Like, the concepts aren't bad, I can get behind the story beats, but it's SO fuckin quick and the Severance plot went from being hinted at to being over almost immediately.

My standard response is "tell me, in specific detail, how exactly I'll be 'left behind,'" and to date not a single techbro has ever answered the question. "You'll be left behind" is a statement of religious faith, not business fact, and should be treated as such.
So the “figure out how to use it lest you be left behind” replies about ‘AI’ that have been popping up here strike me as inauthentic but also kind of funny because they grant the point that rather than an automation panacea these technologies are quite difficult to figure out how to use effectively

I did a survey recently about using AI in my workplace. I was able to choose options saying I do not like it and I think it is bad. But when it cane to the "Why do you avoid it?" The only possible choices were that I was not confident or needed more training.
I find the idea that you need to know “how to use” AI tools really funny, as if it isn’t incredibly easy to type in prompts and the marketing these tools is that literally anyone can do it
