This is spot on. X is not primarily a social media platform anymore. It's a power space for America's neo-royalty, and other governments are afraid of Trump's anger if they leave.

That's why "our government communications now happen on a deepfake porn site", and nobody does anything.
X Is a Power Problem, Not a Platform Problem

The Author goes on to talk in the same paragraph about how drones can't replace tanks or IFVs. Except that Ukraine entered this war with a large active duty tank fleet than Germany, France and Italy combined, and let's not even get into the utter disaster that is the UK's vehicle park right now.

The first Russian UGV I saw in June 2025. Of course it was quite rare back then.

Right now on Lyman direction the AFU destroy 2-3 UGVs per day. Near Pokrovsk even more.

Sometimes we even see those platforms with RWS but mostly they are used for logistics (at least for now).

Hope we can all find something in life we love as much as Brigitte Bardot loved getting convicted and fined for inciting racial hatred by a French court.

Worth noting, before the misty-eyed tributes begin, that Brigitte Bardot was handed six fines for “inciting racial hatred,” opposed to MeToo-era reporting on sexual assault and publicly endorsed far-right leaders in France.

If you want to understand the war in Ukraine, watch @anderspucknielsen.dk. For the investment of watching just a few 10-15 minute videos per month, you'll understand the war better than most journalists (and far better than the US administration lol).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiTNUZ2zONY

There were 93 homicides in London last year: population 9 million

In New York - population 8.5 million - there were

London's homicide figure is 6 times lower than LA, 9 times lower than Miami, 17 times lower than Chicago.

And it's falling year on year despite the population increasing

Obama was a spineless weasel who had no limits to the number of people he was content to see die if he could meet other objectives in so doing. Yemen, Syria, and Ukraine are the big examples.
Remember how in 2009 after Russia’s invasion of Georgia the US decided to press the “reset” button hoping it would motivate them to not invade anyone anymore

This is why I tell people not to look at splotches on the map. They don't tell you if it's a company sized element holding an area or a couple guys on motorcycles who will be dead before the map is updated.

In 2011 Ahmed al Sharaa was an obscure young Al Qaeda operative trying to figure out where his loyalties lay in an emerging Syrian rebellion.

If Iran ends up in serious trouble in the next few years then whoever comes out on top is likely to be equally obscure today.
