This is what happened in our neighborhood yesterday. ICE snatched a human being off of our streets, roughed them up badly, and then pepper sprayed legal observers as they documented it all. This is a daily occurrence happening all throughout Minnesota right now.

Despite what some, including at DHS, are claiming, this video isn’t from a year ago in Chicago. It was Friday in Hoffman Estates, in my district, a street I’ve walked myself. It appears to show a child being violently detained by ICE. It’s real, and I’m demanding accountability.

As the US retreats into 1930's style isolationism, it's worth remembering that many vocal "America First" figures were extremely sympathetic toward the Nazis, and wanted to keep the US out of another European war "stoked by Jewish financiers." Anyway, it all turned out fine, right?
