We are pleased to report that a court has dismissed the terrorism charges against one of the RICO defendants in the #StopCopCity trial, citing the prosecutors' intentional delaying tactics.
Indeed—the entire case is simply judicial persecution. Throw out all the charges.

the people angry at this seem captured by the delusion that "immortality" would somehow trickle down to the masses. This ignores two key things:
1. Most tech oligarchs see "immortality" as uploading themselves to the cloud
2. They want to make themselves gods and don't desire your company

What book I love the most is a hard question but if I was to just pick one, it would have to be Ursula K Le Guin's "The Dispossessed"
It has had one of the greatest influences on me as a writer and as a person

I'm planning on switching over from Google Docs to LibreOffice
But
LibreOffice automatically sets their document margins to 0.75" all around and I don't know how to change this other than doing it manually on each document
Any advice?

I’m glad people are seeing this cruelty. But we shouldn’t forget the people our border has killed, they get little more than a metal cross my friends make, a small cairn, a little plaque, and a space in the hearts of those of us who wanted better for them.
