You are ABSOLUTELY NOT going to regret listening to this bird:
A male rock ptarmigan (Lagopus muta) in winter plumage.

Ptarmigan is from Gaelic 'tarmachan' meaning "croaker". The p- was added when people mistakenly assumed it was a Greek word.

A bird forever warning people: "A werewolf!" (just in case of werewolves).

How to get paid doing what I enjoy?
(No, not that, you dirty boy!)
Writing silly stories and recording audio of course.

Where to even start? Voiceover agents? Paid-for agencies? What's legit and what sh... not?

Help a man get started!

This is the most absolute-state-of-everything-in-2025 news story imaginable
It’s the exclusive everyone wanted, the story that will win next year’s Pulitzer…

I can reveal London’s giant AI generated Christmas artwork, the subject of much online mockery, is being torn down - and I honestly *genuinely* think you’ll never guess why. www.londoncentric.media/p/ai-artwork...
London's giant AI artwork to be torn down
The bizarre story of why a much-talked-about creation is being torn down. Plus: Docklands Light Railway extension, giant laser stalks the night sky, and more tales of Android phone theft rejection.

Everyone should buy a copy of Scarenthood, I loved it.
So, I got the rights back for SCARENTHOOD this year! I've been able to work away on Vol 2 since and should have BIG news about in in the next 6 months. Vol 1 (about Irish ghosthunting parents) is £10 (with sketch!) and helps recoup the costs of retreiving the rights. Also; it's really good! Jump on!

All interest, vaporized
Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.

They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.

Was talking to a couple of pals yesterday about what x is for, it’s not for people anymore and it’s not for advertisers it’s for steering politics. That’s it. That’s its purpose.
Vital piece of investigative reporting from Sky. They've uncovered the X algorithm which feeds users extremist right wing material from the moment they join the site. It is a far-right radicalisation engine, by design.

I am going to lose my fucking mind!

One more time:

THE REASON THERE WERE A LOT OF SPOILED VOTES IS BECAUSE THERE WAS A CONCERTED ORGANISED CAMPAIGN BY BAD ACTORS TO PERSUADE PEOPLE TO…

(YOU GUESSED IT!)

SPOIL THEIR FUCKING VOTES

It wasn’t organic! Now shut up and stop being enragingly thick
A total of 213,738 people spoiled their vote in the recent Presidential Election, and questions remain as to why so many people chose to do so, writes Juliette Gash.
