There is a trend of video game narratives where women are prominent to be overly focused on motherhood and the 'natural' nurturing urges we're all supposed to harbor. It happens even when the woman in question wears power armor and blasts aliens with a giant arm cannon.

People don't seem to know that in Japan, genAI output can't be copyrighted without a "creative contribution" from a human author, which kinda explains why the common thread between ZUN and Level-5 is "using GenAI output like you'd use a stock photo for photo-bashing".

Yeah I think not only is there an ethical and moral distinction here, something like...DLSS is a great example of something that isn't the plagiarism machine. Well, technically it is, but it's the game plagiarizing it's own frames, for itself. Not the same.
Conflating machine learning tools with GenAI and LLMs are such a favorite of these bad faith arguments, too. Like, machines studying X-rays to better understand cancer is not the same thing as Open AI swallowing all my books via piracy to regurgitate sentences that sound similar. It's just not.

Hey, congratulations on beating SILENT HILL f NG+++! (after it was nerfed) I'm glad you were able to finally get to and beat it now. (it was harder before). You should feel proud! (even though I beat it before it was nerfed, when it was harder). Good job!

I don't think it should be ignored, but for a 60+ year old movie franchise where the lead periodically changes appearances and doesn't get 60 years old, I think a simple acknowledgement without explanation should suffice.
