My favorite thing about Frog and Toad is that it is the story of two men deeply and obviously in love with one another, drawn as a tribute to his lifelong partner by a gay man long before their relationship was socially sanctioned.

It feels like too many people have the mindset that "I can act however I like as long as I'm right" and if anyone doesn't listen because you're being too much of a jerk, it's their fault for being too stupid and emotional to look at the substance of your argument
I think a lot of people have this mindset of “well my politics are very clearly correct so me being a jerk all the time reads as this cool little flourish” when in reality that flourish actually makes you look kinda stupid and makes the uninitiated question those politics to begin with

Weird to see such an obviously useful technology end up winning anyway despite aggressive devaluing at the federal level.
Solar+batteries is just going to win.
Solar is comparatively cheap. It's the easiest for power companies to deploy (~1 year vs. 5-10 years for conventional power plants). It's inexpensive to maintain. It's environmentally beneficial. And it can add value to farms by providing shade.
