Donald Trump is Joe Biden now

POTUS's job approval on prices is where Biden's was during peak inflation in 2022-23. Voters say 2:1 that Trump has made the economy worse. Oh, and consumer sentiment among independents hit a new all-time low in November, www.gelliottmorris.com/p/donald-tru...

This is about stealing oil and rare earths.
Trump says we are preparing to invade Nigeria. Apparently that’s what voters said they wanted in the exit polls. Trump: “We’re going to do things to Nigeria that Nigeria’s not gonna be happy about. Guns-a-blazin!”

Trump’s threats against Nigeria are naked attempts of imperialism. Bomb the country, take the oil. Besides the obvious, they’d love to topple the new governments in the Sahel which kicked out France. Like almost everything the clown emperor does, this buffoonery will fail and they’ll turn elsewhere.

The new NBC national survey shows the Democratic advantage in the generic congressional trial heat growing since March from +1 to +8. The Republican advantage on the economy has essentially disappeared - dropping from 21 points in September 2023 to just 1 point now.

The realignment really began in 1964 when the Civil Rights Act was passed. That was the last time Democrats won white voters.
People keep asking this. I'd say: Riots. Crime. Vietnam. Four years of the Great Society that aren't looking Great.

Which is why Nixon wins. Is there something else?

Ronald Reagan began his “states rights” presidential campaign in Philadelphia, Mississippi - the site where 3 civil rights workers were murdered by the KKK. That wasn’t an accident. He used racially coded language like “welfare queens” to trigger white resentment of government programs.
People can't seem to grasp that difference, which is in part how the left started to lose the public (who to this day don't see Reagan the same way they do). "Reagan is the same as Trump" is like a free ad for Trump.

A 61-year-old Tennessee man posted a liberal meme on Facebook after Charlie Kirk's death. A conservative sheriff had him arrested. Bail was set at $2 million.

He spent nearly 40 days in jail before charges were dropped. Now he's planning to sue. Our story: www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2025/...
A retired policeman posted a Charlie Kirk meme. He spent a month in jail.
The 61-year-old Tennessee man plans to sue after authorities dropped charges over a political Facebook post. Free-speech advocates say it’s a symptom of a wider crackdown.

She could choose 1 of 2 options:

1. Leave everyone alone. Tweak at the margins. Do whatever the Ellison tells you. And just collect your paycheck, understanding that you’re unprecedentedly unqualified for the position.

2. Suffer from the delusion that you know what you’re doing.

Funny that VA Republicans weren’t worried about Republican efforts to redraw Texas and other states. The hypocrisy is truly unbelievable.

This is what the republican court wanted. They hate Black people and want us out of all professional life in America. Colleges will find ways around this, but it will take time. In the meantime we must fight and degrade the political capabilities of racist republicans wherever possible.
Black student enrollment at elite colleges is dropping, by nearly half at some schools, just two years after the end of race-conscious admissions. This trend threatens decades of hard-fought progress in education. We must find new ways to ensure equity and representation.
Black enrollment is waning at many elite colleges after affirmative action ban, AP analysis finds
An Associated Press analysis finds that the number of Black students enrolling at many elite colleges has dropped in the two years since the Supreme Court banned affirmative action in admissions.

Looks like the ceasefire is over. Was it a week? This is just another hit damaging US credibility on the world stage.

Easily Bessent. The current US government is duplicitous. Lies constantly. Cannot be trusted in any circumstance. Any deal is liable to be reneged on at the whims of the mad emperor. Their word is worth nothing. Their signatures are worth even less. The world knows this and trusts China far more.

Have you ever looked at the stars? And been in awe of the unfathomable size of the galaxies? Of the universe? I have the same feeling thinking about the vast sea of ignorance in our society. Sometimes it feels like we stand on a beach of knowledge staring out into an infinite ocean of ignorance

The traditional media had endless anger for Obama’s “they’re clinging to guns and religion” and Hillary’s “Trump voters are deplorables.” But when Trump says he wants to jail, kill, and shit on blue america? Crickets. Really shows you who they believe the ‘real americans’ are.

Civil rights were something that was possible when America was geopolitically ascendant and the dominant social class felt secure in their position. As America declines relative to other great powers, as whites feel less powerful relative to others, civil rights will erode. Fear and hate will rise.
October 16, 2025 at 1:57 PM
Besides the racism this is a long standing conspiracy theory, that Black people would never naturally want civil rights but are being manipulated by jewish interests. Goes back hundreds of years. This is the core unspoken claim of the Soros conspiracy theory.
Hakeem Jeffries posted pictures of two Rep. Members posing with “Young Republicans” who were part of a racist text thread (as reported by Politico).

In response, Mike Davis (well-connected in Trump World & on the Hill) called Jeffries a “house slave” for George Soros - proving Jeffries’ point.

The election was primarily about inflation
My belief is that Kamala would have won last year if they’d let Tim Walz keep calling Vance and Trump “weird.” But the professional Dem consultant class closed off the one attack that actually resonated with voters.
Endlessly attacking Trump as depraved and support for him as a form of moral failure actually made people stop supporting him. Shame and disgust are very powerful weapons.

To be fair the US participated in genocide before the society became deeply cynical and nihilistic. The cynicism is just a result of slower growth and lower standard of living in recent decades
anyone else notice that the west took a turn for the worse once the concept of signaling one’s own social virtue became derogatory, almost as if cynically deriding all displays of charity and good will is indicative of a deeply cynical and nihilistic society capable of collaborating in genocide
her advocacy for Palestinians doesn't bother me nearly as much as she is so desperately doing all this as an actual act of transparent virtue signaling, to fill the absence she has in depth of character
