I have a lot of compassion for team employees that lose their jobs. I have friends in the industry too. It happens, and you’re allowed to empathize with your friends.

But if you’re a public-facing journalist or analyst and that skews your reporting or analysis, you are no longer doing your own job.

I want people to realize that Keider Montero was the 8th man to take the mound for the Tigers in this game. He's bounced between the rotation and bullpen for his entire MLB career. And he was out there throwing 97 mph with an 87 mph slider.
