If the _only_ thing we got from the EU and all the membership fees paid were the longest period of peace most European countries have been fortunate to enjoy, the money would’ve been extremely well spent.

EU is a peace project first and foremost - but so much more too. Our last, best hope even?

Journalists quite often get emails written in exactly this style, often sent to scores of recipients on multiple publications, and the sadly reliable assumption is that the irate sender is miserable, paranoid and probably unwell.

Jay Miller’s The Glass Menagerie has had terrific reviews and the run has been extended to May 10th. Some tickets still available but it’s selling out.

Baby boomers, like me, didn't have material trinkets but we had hope, a free education, secure employment and affordable housing.
Generation Z have none of these, little wonder they suffer from anxiety and depression.
