"ICE and CBP must be abolished" is the only reasonable position. We can debate the specifics of new agencies for immigration functions, but these agencies are simply too infected with a culture of impunity, racism, and fascism to continue. They're gangs with badges.

Expel the yes votes from the party and cut off all their access to fundraising, then remove Schumer from leadership. Anything less is mealy-mouthed coward bullshit.
As this vote moves to the House, I stand with Democratic leadership as they refuse to rubber stamp the full-scale Republican assault on Americans’ health care and I am proud of the majority of Senate Democrats who opposed this vote.

The core conceit of the Twitter-remainers who insist it bad for the people who left Twitter that they left Twitter is that they'd rather be in a place filled with Nazis and white supremacists than a place filled with lefties and progressives—and believe it's wrong for others to feel the opposite.
Megan is clearly more comfortable surrounded by Nazis than by progressives, and so would like everyone who left her preferred hangout to leave their preferred hangout and come back to hers. It's that simple, but stating it that directly would mean admitting the first part.
