For those that didn't see, they brown faced the raisins girl on the classic Sun-maid raisin box and called them Sarah's Sultanas.
Because apparently that is acceptable.
The Observer has now deleted the post, but shame on them for publishing such racist trash in the first place.

The editor and “artist” still haven’t apologised. So much for accountability. Pathetic.

If you side with Jarhanpur in the #Superman film but still support what's happening in #Gaza, I don't really know what to tell you.

It's right that we sanction Israeli politicians Ben-Gvir and Smotrich, but they are far from the only ones responsible for this genocide.

We need a full arms embargo with Israel, trade sanctions, and sanctions targeting all those committing human rights abuses.

the damage being done to real human beings right now has to be more important than upholding and promoting a property that directly turns dollars into harm to trans people

IT HAS TO BE
Here’s the thing.

If you support TERFS, I don’t support you.

Even if you were part of something I once loved.

Jewel Staite liked Jason Isaacs post about Tom Felton returning to the role of Draco, on Broadway.

Unfollowed them both. (They will not miss me. I’m a nobody.)

Look, I’m about as nonviolent as they come, but we have to…not say things like “the protests must remain nonviolent to have legitimacy” because then all Trump has to do is send in some guy with a brick.

One of the biggest problems with a traditional conservative mindset in economics(if you assume good faith) is that it never gets past thinking past more than two dominos. We are all dependent on each other in an economic ecosystem. You make some processes extinct, it destroys so much in the fall.
People are NOT understanding what empty cargo ships from China means.

It means no work for dock workers. No work for truck drivers, no work for retailers, fewer dollars circulating. The cascade effect is just mind boggling.

Amazon says displaying tariff cost 'not going to happen' after White House blowback

The wimps already backed down.
REPORTER: Amazon will soon display a number next to the price of each product that shows how much the Trump tariffs are adding. Isn't that a perfect demonstration that it's the American consumer who is paying for these policies?

LEAVITT: This is a hostile and political act by Amazon.

If anyone in Clapton is wondering where their MP is currently it is at various pubs in north Cambridgeshire, canvassing for the mayoral elections. Dunno why it keeps getting served - maybe it just carries a pre-poured pint around just in case 🖕

From today, water bills increase by 26%.

This isn’t an April Fool’s joke but water companies are laughing all the way to the bank, having racked up £60bn in debt and paid £72bn in dividends since privatisation.

We must take water back into public ownership and end this rip-off.
