Strangely my very much indoor palm with a layer of gravel designed to keep things out of the soil has fungus in the pot. I don't know how it's happened. But also the mushroom looks like this.

Dear Severn Trent,
It surely doesn't come as a surprise that it rains in England, so please make drains that don't overflow and flood roads.

Imagine being stupid enough to think a cow will catch a dog. And for that matter, since when did horses eat cows?

Yet again Labour are just cheap. Want to hire a Tory? £10k a day is the going rate. Want a nomination for a 6 figure high powered job? £2,900. No wonder they're the party of business, they have undercut their competition massively.

I am a tolerant person, but the next person that sets off a firework in my earshot is going to get their intestines ripped out and used to strangle them. Shut the fuck up you fucking cunts. It's been three fucking weeks!

We deserve our doom, and I am just really sorry for everyone else we're taking with us.

Today's a good day to remember Rosalind Franklin, British chemist and X-ray crystallographer whose untimely death meant three men shared a Nobel prize for discovering the structure of DNA for which she'd done most of the work.

I don't know if the Tesla people are clever and cynical enough try and keep their brand in the news by silly things, or whether journalists are just extra credulous.
But Elon Musk promised to give them the moon on a stick and they promised to give him seven bajilion space dollars.
It's not real

HR guessing how white you are by the shape of your skull to see if they want to offer you a job is it?

I think, in hindsight, you can either be a guy who bites his fingers far too much or a guy who uses and eats too many lemons.
Not both.

If you've been a fan of the Lord of the Rings books, or the films, this is worth watching, when you've over an hour to spare. 70s LOTR script which would have had a cocaine budget bigger than the CGI bill for Jackson's adaptation.

This is deeply disappointing from Starmer.
The UK *helped design* this 'TFFF' fund, designed to stop deforestation, and supposedly 'continues to back the fund' (in theory). But now isn't putting any money into it 🤯

BREAKING: After months of stonewalling by Starbucks, unionized baristas just voted 92% to authorize a ULP strike unless Starbucks finalizes fair contracts & stops union busting.
If forced, our baristas will strike in dozens of cities on November 13 – the company's busiest sales day of the year.

An annual reminder that Guy Fawkes was a man who wanted to assassinate a Protestant monarch in order to have a Catholic monarch. He was not an interesting revolutionary. He was a boot licker with a strong preference for the style of shoe.

Ooooh, can we prosecute everyone using Ai systems that don't have rights to use things, with handing stolen goods? Once the original people are in prison for theft.
These AI 'companies' need to be charged with theft, forced to pay for the stolen copyright, go bankrupt, assets sold to no one because they don't own stolen copyright material & go to jail.
