One of the lasting damages of the Trump era is going to be people who will treat belief as fact. Even if the actual facts dispute it, they will treat "truth" and "beliefs" as the "Common sense" and that anything that corrects them as discrimination. We can see it now with trans existence.

I wonder where trans healthcare would be right now if the backlash never started. I know some docs that were working on trying to have a uterine transplant procedure. They used to say the first trans girl to be pregnant was already born. Now we're here.
