Rewatching FMAB for the 3rd time with my 12yo, his first time. Just hit Episode 20 which in my opinion is one of the most brilliant sequences written in any story I've read or watched. I literally want to write an essay on it.

I had a lot of issues with the final episodes of Righteous Gemstones, but it all boils down to the actors/characters STILL being too damn likable for the world they were supposedly satirizing. The values preached, and BELIEVED, are not mainstream despite their unsized influence in American life.
These people all go to rich people megachurches so they have no idea how freaky this looks to normal people
