Can't remember if I've posted this, but one of the first times I visited the town in which I now live this was tied with a ribbon to the bridge from the train station.

I still find comfort in reading it occasionally. A beautiful sentiment from a stranger who'll never know how much it meant to me.

this must be all that 'the bbc is captured by gender ideology' that @maitlis.bsky.social, @jonsopel1.bsky.social, and @lewisgoodall.com were bravely standing up against when they helped propagate a whole bunch of dangerous medical disinformation, that has got several kids killed since, on newsnight.
the bbc changed their article from saying 'trans woman' to saying 'biological male who identifies as a woman'.

even if you don't care about trans ppl it should alarm you just how captured the bbc has become.

they will no longer even say 'trans woman'. that's not normal and shows massive bias.

"In light of the Cass Review ..." is going to be used to attack trans healthcare across the world from now until the sham hit-job is utterly discredited and disowned by all levels of society, aka, for the foreseeable future.

Just as it was intended to do.

I am not a "trans activist". I am simply a trans person who wants trans people like myself to be able to live lives free of dignity and fear in this country. I wouldn't know where to start to be an activist about that but I don't think that's a controversial point.

Everytime a trans girl plays sports along her cis girl mates they go like: "Gigantic, huge manly man crashing through little, daint, girly-babies", even when she's about the same size as them. But when a 6.4, heavy-set adult man attacks a noticeably smaller teen, she suddenly is just an 'activist'…

Today I learned that stalking a 17 year old girl, writing up a 400 page 'dossier' about her, falsely reporting her to the police and smashing her phone does not constitute 'harassment'.

One wonders what *would*.

Harassment isn't harassment if your target is trans.

Inciting violence isn't inciting violence if your target is trans.

Trans people are not protected by law in this country.

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.
Study In The Journal Of Pediatrics Finds Trans Youth Care Lowers Suicidality, Few Detransition
The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

It's a certain type of online brain rot to believe that my posts about trans youth completing suicide, while being failed by the adults around them, is because of a cynical social media strategy rather than genuine anger at those creating the circumstances that lead to those tragedies.
Alejandra doomposts & makes enemies out of people who actually support her cause because her relevance depends on others being mad and scared.

It does her no good to tell followers that they're resilient/strong, or coalition build.

In any other context people would rightly call this manipulative.

1 - My son and I met with Wes Streeting last year with other families. He heard the most horrific stories of children refused blockers and how it impacts them. We begged him not to ban blockers, and he promised to work with us, to have further meetings.

Streeting is admitting that the Pathways “trial” already has a predetermined outcome. Stuffing it with SEGM placeholders is evidence of this.

The only way we are going to end state-mandated torture of trans kids is to get Labour out of government completely.

I won’t say what I want to say but this is unethical.

You don’t put 7.3% of cancer patients on a treatment and leave the rest to see how they get on.

Trans healthcare is the only branch where this is allowed to happen.

Puberty blockers were the compromise and they’ve taken that away.
The trail will involve 220 children.

Meanwhile 3000 another children seeking health care for their gender dysphoria will be placed on an ‘observational’ study.

The old ‘watch and wait’ is how Alice was treated. Although this time there might be someone actually watching, this is not health care.🧵
Puberty Blocker clinical trials to begin
on the NHS

- The trial will involve around 220 children under 16
- Young people will “undergo intensive medical and psychological screening”, including Gillick competency evaluation
- Trial: Group 1 will get PBs straight away vs Group 2, 12 months later

The resources that have been wasted by the government, the NHS, the judiciary, and the EHRC, to fix a ‘problem’ that doesn’t exist is staggering.
Just to remove trans women from society.
Meanwhile, cis men are assaulting and raping women with impunity, and not one of them has had to put a dress on.

I spent like half an hour looking around my flat wondering how it's so much colder than it has been the last couple years, wondering if a seal somewhere has broken.

Took me that long to remember that I'm 70lbs lighter than I was last year, which would explain it.

It shows clear intent that they believe anti-trans campaigning should be rewarded and celebrated.

We will not stand for this. As such, we will not work with The Herald or Scottish Power. Any requests for their attendance at Stirling Pride events will be refused including participation in marches.

One of my neighbours moved so now I'm down to knowing like 2 neighbours' names.

Admittedly it was her cat whose name I knew. But in my defence, the cat didn't tend to respond with the owner's name.

Today is Trans Day of Remembrance.

Today we remember and grieve all those we have lost. But we also commit – collectively – to fighting for those of us who are left. There will be hope as long as we continue to stand together.

Black trans women are paid dust by cis people and trans people. 21 is too young for a trans girl to die. It's not fucking fair. But per the course, Girlalala will be lost in a sea of stories of trans women of color who aren't as loved or as protected as we should be.

May she rest in peace.
