🔥 Harrods: What do the survivors do now??

The courts, the redress scheme, the police — all form part of the same legal abyss.

◾ Survivors cannot access the courts, let alone for trafficking

◾ Harrods’ “redress” is run by the institution itself

◾ The Met refuses to name the crimes as trafficking
When power is untouchable: the legal abyss facing Harrods survivors
Survivors of abuse connected to Mohamed Al Fayed’s Harrods empire are discovering what “no one is above the law” really means

We live in Britain, and there are now profound questions to ask our government. There's no conceivable bridge between Europe & this US administration. Whether we escape tariffs is a laughably parochial question. Yesterday is now an awfully long time ago.

Sorry UK, I'm all for deeper UK-EU security cooperation at this moment, but forget about this bridge illusion.

The EU will speak for itself.

And you cannot pretend to speak 'for Europe' and at the same meeting call for tariff carve outs playing on being 'not Europe'.

I tried out my brand new drsyuit on Thursday for practising various rescues in a sea kayak. I got completely soaked and feet filled up with water. My narrow wrists might be the problem but I now have little confidence in the suit. Where do I start? #kayaking #drysuit #soaked
