Every single act of resistance matters, especially when they keep escalating. We've said it since 2016, but none of it can be accepted as normal.
The sheer number of videos of the shooting is horrific, but in the vein of what @prisonculture.bsky.social has been saying, it proves how many people cared enough to show up where ICE was and record them. It wasn't just one or two legal observers, and when Good was shot, they didn't abandon her.

Wrote a piece for @slate.com explaining that states have a long history of prosecuting federal officers when they allegedly use excessive force. Federal officers are only immune from such prosecutions when they act reasonably in carrying out lawful duties.

For months, I've seen videos of Meal Team Six ICE agents assaulting and abducting women, so the fact that the first American citizen ICE flat-out killed in broad daylight was a woman doesn't surprise me.
