I don't see how Tesla's Model 3 can survive if Benz can offer an alternative EV this cheap, with this kind of performance, on top of the 15% tariff that it's charged in the US.

Imagine what this model does to Tesla in Europe, where Benz pays no tariffs.

The subheading "An expert says parents need their children" which sounds like accomodation to creepy parents, is explained by the single expert, actually against tracking, saying "You need your children, in a reasonably safe setting, to be exposed to challenges."
I don’t know what’s worse here, the free advertising for adult stalkerware or the Beeb normalising it as an act of family love.

Well if people really want change put the major parties last in the next election. Don’t let media tell you hang parliament is bad. Because it’s not allows more scrutiny on policy. Government gets away with too much. It’s time to sent a clear message we are not happy.

Andrew Leigh on the case for randomised trials. Unfortunately, he is one of the few in this government with the courage to think about any kind of change www.themonthly.com.a...?

This should come a surprise to no one. We all knew this was coming. There is no way trump was EVER going to release anything that did not flatter him. It must be worse than we imagined. He's a fucking sissy punk bitch 🐖

And just like that, the Epstein files are now part of an ongoing investigation. Certainly can’t release them NOW. Nope, too bad.

It's not 'cost-cutting' when there will be a much higher cost to the general public (getting sick due to diseases in the water).

This is just that thing whereby National governments hate knowing anything about anything because none of their theories dovetail with reality at all.

I think that somewhere along the way something in Stephen Miller got fundamentally damaged. This is neither an excuse nor a mitigating factor; the dude is genuinely fucking evil and he and everything he stands for should be fought against and stopped. But he is something beyond mere sociopathy.
Since Stephen Miller is in the midst of another of his Aryans-only trantrums, we should note that his family are 20th century immigrants from the shtetl of Antopol (Антопаль) then in the Hrodna gubernia of Russia. Applying his immigration rules, they would all have perished in the Holocaust.

If my nephew’s ideas on immigration had been in force a century ago, our family would have been wiped out.

Remember during the pandemic when they couldn't make cars because production lines for the processors that went in automobile PCs had shut down?

Okay, now imagine that shit for everything.

Every device with a computer in it.

Yeah, this shit's gonna be intolerable and right soon.

That's means we're at a low stock of DRAM, and not just for RAM sticks for computers.

SSDs? They use DRAM for buffers.

Smartphones? DRAM chips, hard soldered.

Literally just about every device with some kind of computer chip? DRAM.

This mess has only just begun.

To give you an idea of how "AI" has fucked up the holiday season, their insane demand for RAM chips that's barely even being used has caused a production drought for every other application.

Meaning right now you can buy a cheap PC, yank the RAM, and sell it on eBay for twice what the PC costs.

If you said you were drunk but thankfully you barely drove home without passing out it would be universally agreed you should go to jail. It’s maddening how apparently if you own a Tesla, though, you’re allowed to brag about getting behind the wheel while impaired to the point of unconsciousness.

A reminder for those who are not aware: "remigration" is the process of deporting all non-white people from a country. It includes citizens and is, by definition, ethnic cleansing.

And to be clear: this is not fake. I just screenshot it myself.
