Here’s what I would ask if I were the judge:
1) has the us ascertained whether Mr Abrego García is alive and well?
2) is there any written agreement between the countries regarding the detention of those removed from the US?
3) what agency or individual is/was communicating with El Salvador?
Update: They filed 45 minutes late and their response can be boiled down to "We won't tell you jack at this time, judge."

The 1:00 hearing is going to be fiery. Sadly, no public call-in line.

This 37 minute episode of the Daily is the most harrowing, infuriating piece of reporting I’ve heard in a long time. Everyone needs to listen to it. A sane country would be debating only the length of the prison terms of the people who did this to these men. We just moved to the next scandal.
Trump Sent Them to a Notorious Prison. Torture Followed.

Always head-spinning how the venezuelan people (or whoever) are innocent victims of a reign of terror at home but if they try to flee and come here they become sinister illegal aliens. In this case the transformation happens within two sentences

AI kind of feels like the endgame of this bit Graeber described in the original Bullshit Jobs essay: these people have been so thoroughly cleaved from any sense of purpose that they resent those who have one. They hate artists for their skill and think poverty should be the price of having a calling

In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

I will be handing them out on the 15th as part of the NYC Day of Action.

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

They caved in March so they could get a better deal now. They’re caving now so they can get a better deal in some indeterminate future. The better deal is always just beyond their reach, but continuing to cave will get them there. And if you don’t agree with that, you don’t understand Politics,

Some thoughts on the CR/minibus.

1 The Dems negotiating with Rs were not freelancing. They coordinated with Sen Schumer. A few were ready to give in on day one, others worked to maximize appropriations wins.

Those voting for the 'deal' are the ones furthest away from electoral consequences.
