Finally—and this is super cool!—saltbush, like many plants, are dioecious, so they have separate male and female plants. Except the four-winged saltbush is TRIOECIOUS. It has separate male and female plants but in response to environmental cues, the plants will just up and switch sex.

if the headaches are related to pulling on your ears, try to get masks that fit better? or one of those extension straps that go around the back of your head that you can hook the loops onto & relieve ear/head pain. I've tried a few different kinds, & I like cloth or crocheted ones with buttons.

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections
