I love Aotearoa.

So our corrupt govt is going to abolish Regional Councils!
The only arm of govt that specifically protects our clean water & the environment on a regional basis.
They are critical to our survival.
Another appalling attack on nature!!

You don’t need me to tell y’all how vital long form journalism is to a healthy democracy. We just need to do our bit, read & try to understand others through it.

Someone is going to die because of an unnoticed, or, unchallengeable, hallucination in their medical records.
'[Ethics professor Angela] Ballantyne said she was concerned that the Hawke's Bay trial - which reviewed the experience of eight clinicians using the tools - had not gone into enough depth ahead of being implemented through the country's hospitals.'
AI scribe tool rolled out to emergency departments, promises to slash clinicians' admin
While some clinicians are heralding the technology as "the way of the future", others say more evaluation is needed.

Luxon's not entirely wrong. We DO need to consider what assets we have and how best to manage them. In general, my viewpoint is that if it is critical infrastructure that we would be in serious trouble if it failed (eg NZ Railways), we shouldn't consider selling. www.nzherald.co.nz/business/eco...

How could 36 emails sent to Police Minister have been secretly diverted by police staff in his office to the Commissioner’s office?!
All such emails would have first gone through the Minister's own admin staff who should alert the Office Manager/Snr Pvt Sec to any alarming ones!

Perfectly put!
Luxon: It's perfectly normal for a coalition partner to be slagging us off, saying Nats can't manage the economy, have driven the country right offa a cliff. I'd only expect Winston Peters to say I'm a useless shite with the leadership skills of a flea and that my head looks like sweat

So.. 24 complaints ( from who, over what timeline?) is enough for us to ditch basic health and safety on food items?
