for an isotropic n-dimensional Gaussian, the radial distance from the mean follows a chi distribution with n degrees of freedom & the distance concentrates at root-n. broadly, "the more issues the electorate cares about, the more extreme any given voter is likely to be in at least 1 dimension."
"demonstrates that America still has a political center" I mean for any set of vectors you can always find the average, but it's also different to live in a world where the center is also the peak of the distribution vs. one where it is not.
