Do you have a historical figure you most wish got to be a poster? I feel like you must have a better answer than mine, which is Churchill. The guy started autobiography when he was 19 I think. And just never stopped. True poster.

The Leftovers is the objectively correct answer.
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc

A less glamorous mystery is why they go out of their way to peck at my head.
So the thing I love about red-winged blackbirds is that they're so damn mysterious. They linger half hidden at the waters edge and only explode into color when they fly. Their song sounds like a polyphonic R2-D2. They're magical.
i think this site really needs to figure out how to grow the non-politics verticals (the baseball moment was a good thing!) because i suspect a lot of the bad clusters come out of the political clusters driving 95% of ENG-lang posts

Every person involved in the trial in NYC today is part of an illegal war.

Don't forget folks: allowing yourself a vision of the future you'd want for our country and planet - not the one you'd settle for, not the one you fear, but the future of your dreams - isn't naive, it's a vital cognitive skill. That's how we articulate what we most value. What's worth fighting for.
Instead of whatever this is, we should have a government getting lots of new homes and apartments built, lots of clean energy built, lots of high speed rail and transit and bike lanes built, human rights for everyone, economic & healthcare opportunities for all, & innovation that leads the world.

My whole life, advocating war has been fed to me as “the adult position,” akin to drinking your coffee black or reading the business section of the newspaper. Let’s be very clear — war is the childish nonsense of impulsive destructive idiots playing baby-brained video games with real human lives.

did, did people expect the military to not comply with the invasion? that was never in the cards, there's a chance they won't fire on civilians, but they were always going to go along with a war.

"The opposition already has a plan for transition, if it works is anyone’s guess but don’t think you know how this will play out just cause you read some history books."

this is so fucking funny when you realize Trump basically insulted the opposition

But half of congress supports this.
It is very important that your federal electeds hear not only from you on social media, but through direct contact as well. Tag them and then

Call and email. Do both. Tell them to move to immediately impeach and remove for an unconstitutional war of aggression.
