i appreciate that every personal anecdote about bari weiss from someone who has worked with her underlines that, above all, she’s a clumsy, obvious dipshit
I wrote book reviews for a while for the WSJ well over a decade ago, and Bari Weis was my editor. One of her special tricks was to try to insert a sharp rightward slant into my essays *after* it had been copy edited, as a way of slipping her viewpoint in at the last minute.

The tragic death of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year old mother fatally shot by ICE, shows that ICE can’t be reformed and must be abolished.

I’ll be introducing the Abolish ICE Act as a step toward justice, accountability, and humanity in our immigration policy.

Time to melt ICE.

the government's paramilitary stormtroopers quite literally went from murdering a woman to tear gassing high school children in the same day.
Kind of wild there has been almost no coverage of the fact that the federal government unleashed chemical weapons against literal kids *at school*.

It would appear that uncritically funding the people that hate us so much that they mint coins commemorating body counts instead of listening to the people who said that the institutional rot within the police is so deeply engrained that they represent a danger to us all has mysteriously backfired.

No, arrest the murderer now. If he walks they will keep killing us.
Q: Is there anything stopping state law enforcement from conducted an independent investigation even if the feds don't want it?

JACOBSON: Without assistance from the FBI, we would be at a loss to be able to initiate & conduct a thorough investigation. It would be very difficult if not impossible

not even JD Vance wants to live in a world where you vigorously defend the murder of your populace, while demonizing the murdered, before any of the facts are in. insanely reckless. this is depraved indifference to the lives of your citizenry and this will have immense and lasting consequences
