There is so much cool, real health science that I think could really satisfy woo woo urge! Sometimes I think just explaining how pills/bodies work helps patients fill the need for woo woo. Like it helps them place real things into the story of their life or something.
we should talk about this more, if people are going to turn to woo we should steer them towards things that sound like woo but aren’t
so there’s a bean that makes a protein that kills viruses and if you make chewing gum out of the bean and chew it your mouth becomes a virus killing chamber
