absolutely wild to have sort of casually majored in political science 25 years ago and then have to watch people like Johnson give away the legislative store to the executive branch like it’s the most normal thing in the world
Speaker Johnson and the GOP majorities may have given the power to send US taxpayer dollars to a foreign country to the executive branch, but the Constitution clearly gives that power to Congress.

I am 43 and love basketball so unsurprisingly I irrationally love this song. But… hearing it overplayed and overhyped since NBC got NBA rights back, I’ve gone from from blaming pure nostalgia to eventually accepting that it’s just an incredible banger on the merits, sepia-toned memories be damned.

great example of him being an idiot leading to more and more power grabbing. “Is the funding terminated” is not a good question to ask him because the only correct answer is “no” (it’s not how funding things works), but he’s only going to ever give the most “I am awesome” answer he can think of.

Great economist with a frustratingly uninformed take. If you build applications that depend on LLM AI (and I’m on my second one!), you will frequently find yourself in a position this says doesn’t exist — well-informed and disappointed.

2. I’ve invested in learning how to use this tool. Holy cow, it’s transformational.
