Maybe not coincidence the press filled up with screaming terror about ethnic minority sex offenders and transgender people, in the same decade that multiple appalling scandals broke revealing politics and business - the most powerful people in the world - are knee-deep in coercive sexual abuse.
The obsession with trans women in women’s changing rooms seems to take up a lot of the media space that could be used to highlight cis male sexual abusers - but the concerns over them are usually only of interest when they are dead after a lifetime of praise

Recently had to face the possibility of being forced back to my hometown and as much as London has its own challenges (rent being more than 50% of my paycheck for one) I would have to be dragged back to middle england kicking and screaming. I literally cannot fathom going back by choice.
I realise I'm just a freak, but living in a multicultural city is the best thing of all time, it's just the best possible human experience and i can not understand why anyone on earth would be like "weve got to destroy this"

The 'give ice qr codes' thing reminds me of when Sarah Everard was murdered by a real policeman using his real police id to kidnap her, and the police & gvt made out the solution was to have a helpline to check that the person bundling you away was a real policeman (as the murderer was)

He threatened to kill his son but it wasn't investigated as Gardaí must have a formal complaint, in the case of a child from a parent or guardian, before they can investigate. This loophole in our law has caused the death of a child. Gardai should be able to investigate as soon as they're aware!
