The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

I mean, literally, the answer to this is "I am federally prohibited from telling you anything about my students without a subpoena or judicial warrant; if you have a subpoena or judicial warrant, please submit it to [Legal Officer/Office] to ensure it is in compliance with all relevant federal laws"
If you have students who are trans no you don’t. If you have students of color who may be affected by ICE no you don’t. If anyone asks you gender or racial the makeup of your class you don’t have to tell them.

UNC Charlotte has a senior hire line, 50/50 split btwn Philosophy & the School of Data Science. AOS is ethics, but overlaps w/ philosophy of technology, phil. sci., & epistemology, & you'd be giving future data scientists strong foundations in philosophy.
