"people can still download your art from bsky and feed it into AI" if gamer behavior has taught me anything, just one extra button press is more than enough to annoy a MASSIVE amount of people into not making the effort

The confusion and conflation of ‘generative ai that is built on stolen artwork’ and ‘machine learning, character behaviour modelling and proc gen’ is intentional on the part of the grifters peddling the former. They benefit from murkiness of classification, because the latter predates their bollocks

Lately I've been feeling so deeply exhausted about how every single creative person is wasting so much time thinking about and arguing about how this useless dogshit doesn't work and can never work; so I gotta say, seeing players overwhelmingly understand that too makes me SO happy and encouraged

Don’t let CEOs quibble over how much they’re pushing for AI. Regurgitative AI is a plagiaristic poison, to use any amount of it is to use it too much.

They want the concessions, because concessions can creep. Zero tolerance is the only way to say no to it.

Executives are like very young children. Pretend to pull a coin from behind their ear, tell them it’s magic, and watch them become mystified.

Except children grow out of it. Executives invest billions into every hole they’re told is magic and expect money to come squirting out.

Don’t use AI for Placeholder assets (or at all). The point is to make them obvious they need replacing

Textures should be hot pink
Text should be BOLD ALL CAPS
Animations should be the Macarena

When they say “we only used AI for placeholder” what they really mean is they hoped you wouldn’t notice

Everyone loves AI so much that companies have to quietly smuggle it into our lives and hope nobody notices.

That’s definitely what popularity looks like!

YouTube, by the by, earns money from gambling, as it runs fucking ads for gambling sites!

As I said in a previous video, you can communicate any fucked up thing you like on YT so long as you don’t use the no-no words.

This honestly might be the most pathetic thing YT’s done to me.

This is a perfect example of how YouTube is forcing people to inhibit language, disarm words, and kill context.

Gambling games DO NOT LIKE the word gambling. They do not use it. That is WHY their critics use the fucking word. To take the word away only *helps* those who profit from gambling

Fuck YouTube. I would rather my videos stay removed than edit them to cut out the word gambling. For years, my work was about how loot boxes were gambling, and I used the word because companies didn’t want the word used.

I’d sooner lose every video than destroy the point of them.

Fuck. YouTube.

This is fucking pathetic on Steam’s part. There’s no way in hell “has muslims” should be approved as criticism, and the DEI whining is the same hateful sentiment with a flimsy cover draped on.

I can only assume Valve *agrees* with the bigotry if it’s gonna keep claiming such nerdzi shit is valid.
We had an Overwhelmingly Positive score on Steam, then these two reviews rolled in

Why does Valve allow this?
