Andor is, technically speaking, a quality made TV show. I just couldn’t connect with Cassian Andor himself. I found it impossible to bridge the gap between him being somehow the most pivotal figure in the Rebellion… & the fact he’s like the 8th most interesting guy in Rogue One.

I enjoyed this movie enough to see it twice in theaters when it came out, but in hindsight it’s obvious it really limited the storytelling of its sequels and all post OT media by taking such a back to basics approach.

As someone who desperately wants to see the franchise evolve and move past connection to the original films, I highkey hate this. Filoni is a one trick pony, and his animation stuff is the only thing that has been better than "just ok".
